Mr. Krishnan joined Wasatch Global Investors in 1994 and serves on the Board of Directors. He is also a Portfolio Manager, the head of emerging markets investing and a member of the global research team.

Mr. Krishnan earned a Master of Business Administration from Utah State University, where he also worked as a graduate assistant. He completed his undergraduate degree at Bombay University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor in Mathematics.

Mr. Krishnan is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Salt Lake City Society of Financial Analysts.

Ajay is a native of Mumbai, India and speaks Hindi and Malayalam. He enjoys traveling and cycling.

She also has years of experience in quantitative research and data analytics.

Ms. He earned a Master of Business Administration with the Palmer Scholar honor from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Beijing Jiaotong University. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Allison was born and raised in China, and is fluent in Mandarin. She enjoys travel, food and playing classical piano.

Mr. Bythrow is the Portfolio Manager of the U.S. micro cap value strategy. He joined Wasatch Global Investors in 2003.

From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Bythrow was a portfolio manager for the Monogram Special Equity Fund, where he also managed separate account large cap value portfolios. Earlier, he was an equity analyst with Parkstone Funds and a credit analyst with Shoreline Bank.

Mr. Bythrow earned a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the United States Air Force Academy, where he received the Outstanding Cadet in Social Sciences award for being the top graduate in Social Sciences. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Bythrow served as a communications/computer officer from 1989 to 1994 in the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and obtained the rank of Captain. While in the Air Force, he was the leader of the United States Air Force International Rifle Shooting Team and set several individual and team records for marksmanship.

Brian is a Michigan native who enjoys golfing, hiking and hunting. He is also very involved in the community—teaching free personal-finance courses in local community centers and churches, and actively supporting charities that operate orphanages and adoption services around the world.

Mr. Chace has been in the finance industry since 1996, working in the New York offices of J.P. Morgan Securities, SG Cowen Securities, Merrill Lynch, and Oppenheimer & Co. His work in New York was as an equities analyst following Latin American financial institutions.

Mr. Chace earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pomona College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Chace spent two years in Paraguay with the United States Peace Corps, where he was a volunteer working on water sanitation and health infrastructure projects in rural communities.

Dan is a New Jersey native and speaks Spanish. He enjoys competitive sports and the outdoors, especially trail running.

Mr. Powers is the Portfolio Manager of the global value strategy. He joined Wasatch Global Investors in 2013.

Mr. Powers has many years of investment-research and portfolio-management experience, mainly with large cap value stocks. Prior to joining Wasatch, he served as a portfolio manager with Eagle Asset Management. Earlier, at ING Investment Management, he was the portfolio manager for the ING Large Cap Value Fund. While at ING, he also worked as a senior sector analyst covering energy, telecommunication services, utilities and materials. His experience encompasses several senior investment positions, including as a portfolio manager with Federated Investors. He began his investment career at the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio.

Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and both a Master of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University. He is also a CFA charterholder and a CAIA charterholder, and has a Certified Public Accountant designation.

Dave grew up in the Northeast, is an avid sports fan and loves to travel. He enjoys reading mystery novels and playing basketball.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Tzau was a senior international equity analyst at Rainier Investment Management. He was a founding member of Rainier’s international small/mid cap growth strategy and covered companies in developed and emerging markets across all sectors, with an emphasis on health care, consumer products and services, industrials and financials. Earlier, he was an equity research associate and an assistant portfolio manager at WHV Investment Management, where he covered U.S. small caps, U.S. micro caps, and emerging markets equities across a broad range of countries, sectors and market capitalizations.

Mr. Tzau earned a Master of Science in Finance from Seattle University, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of British Columbia. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Before moving to Salt Lake City, Derrick lived in Hong Kong, Toronto, Vancouver and Seattle. He enjoys hockey, basketball and traveling.

Dr. Pan is an Associate Portfolio Manager on the Greater China research team. He joined Wasatch Global Investors in 2019 as a Senior Analyst focused on emerging markets.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Dr. Pan was a sell-side analyst for nine years at Morgan Stanley covering property-and-casualty insurance companies, including Berkshire Hathaway. From 2004 to 2009, he was a buy-side analyst at New York City-based Stadia Capital, a long/short equity fund that was part of FrontPoint Partners and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Before his investment career, he spent five years in Silicon Valley at a start-up company, modeling natural-catastrophe risks.

Dr. Pan received Bachelor’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, Master’s and PhD degrees in Structural Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business.

He also headed the JPMorgan Private Bank Advisory Program and Thematics manager research for the Wealth Management business. Prior to JPMorgan Mr. Bhatt was an Equity Analyst for nearly a decade covering the Specialty Finance and REIT sectors at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Piper Jaffrey in New York.

Mr. Applegate is a Portfolio Manager, the head of international developed markets investing and a member of the global research team. He joined Wasatch Global Investors in 2014.

During more than two decades of investing, Mr. Applegate has focused exclusively on global small cap companies. His career began in 1994 in London, where he served as a financial analyst and later as a co-manager of a foreign exchange hedge portfolio for Refco. In 1996, he moved to the U.S. where he spent 11 years specializing in small cap investing for RCM and then Berkeley Capital Management. Later, he returned to his native New Zealand to join Fisher Funds as a senior portfolio manager, and was integral in launching and managing international small cap funds. In 2012, he moved back to the U.S. to launch the Pacific View Asset Management international small cap strategy.
Mr. Applegate completed his Bachelor of Management studies at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. He is also a CFA charterholder and a Certified Market Technician (CMT).

Mr. Korngiebel is a Portfolio Manager on the U.S. micro and small cap research teams, and the co-head of U.S. small cap investing.  He joined Wasatch Global Investors in 2015.

Mr. Korngiebel’s investment career has spanned decades, during which he has covered small, mid and large cap growth stocks across all sectors.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Korngiebel was a founder, partner and lead portfolio manager at Montibus Capital Management, which is a business backed by Stifel Financial Corp. At Montibus, he led a team of five investment professionals from 2006 to 2015, managing the firm’s long-only small and SMID cap growth portfolios totaling $1 billion in assets. Earlier in his career, he was a senior managing director and lead portfolio manager at Columbia Management Company—where he rebuilt a six-person investment team, implemented a new philosophy and process, and managed small, SMID and mid cap growth portfolios totaling $2.6 billion in assets. His tenure at Columbia Management was from 1996 to 2006.

Mr. Korngiebel holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Stanford University. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Ken has lived in Venezuela, Spain and Switzerland. He speaks Spanish, and his French is passable. He is also an avid skier, wine collector and struggling golfer.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Ms. Lasater worked as a project lead and systems analyst in the portfolio analytics group at AIM Investments, where she developed tools that enabled portfolio managers and analysts to make informed investment decisions.

Ms. Lasater earned a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Earlier, she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas, where she was a chairperson and membership director of the Asian Business Students’ Association. Since entering the asset-management business in 2005, Mr. Valentine has covered various sectors including health care, technology and basic materials across all market caps and geographies.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Valentine was a portfolio manager at Point72 in Boston where he led a team of analysts and managed a long/short fund focused on the technology and telecom sectors. Before Point72, he worked from 2005 to 2012 as an analyst and a portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments in Boston where he developed a technology-sector strategy for a group of diversified funds in addition to managing long-only sector portfolios.

Mr. Valentine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Prior to rejoining Wasatch, Mr. Dihora was a co-portfolio manager at Nicholas Company Inc., where he managed the small-cap-focused Nicholas Limited Edition Fund. Earlier, he worked as a senior equity analyst at Morningstar, where he covered aerospace, defense, airlines and airports. He also worked as a consultant and as an associate actuary at Milliman, Inc.

Mr. Dihora earned a Master of Science in Finance, Investment & Banking from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science & Economics also from UW-Madison. Additionally, he is a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Huerta is an Associate Portfolio Manager on the emerging markets research team, where his work includes a focus on Greater China. He joined Wasatch Global Investors as an Analyst in 2016.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Huerta was an equity research analyst at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), where he covered developed and emerging markets with a particular focus on dividend-paying companies. Earlier, he was a senior investment analyst at Moneda Asset Management, where he covered Latin American companies broadly and specialized in Chilean retailers and banks.

Mr. Huerta earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science and a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Chile. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Pedro is a native of Chile. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and enjoys music (especially bagpipes), literature, skiing and hiking.

Mr. Snow is a Portfolio Manager on the U.S. small cap research team. He has spent most of his career at Wasatch Global Investors, joining the firm as an Analyst in 2000.

Mr. Snow earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Utah, where he was a member of the tennis team. He spent two years during his undergraduate experience living in Poland.

Ryan is a Utah native and a devoted follower of the University of Utah’s athletic teams. He is also an avid reader, and enjoys CrossFit and traveling with his family.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Thomas was a vice president at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York City and worked in equity research for six years. He also worked in the M&A consulting group at KPMG LLP in San Francisco and New York.

In addition to CFA and CPA certifications, Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.

Scott has also lived in Madagascar and La Reunion, France. He speaks fluent French and has conversational knowledge of Malagasy. He enjoys traveling and is an avid golfer and sports fan.

Mr. Bradley is an Associate Portfolio Manager on the U.S. micro/small cap research team. He joined Wasatch Global Investors as an Analyst in 2014.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Bradley worked as a lab technician at the University of Utah Medical School conducting scientific research on iron metabolism.

Mr. Bradley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Utah with accompanying Pre-Medical courses while participating on the school’s football team.

Thomas speaks fluent Japanese. He is an avid golfer and fly fisherman.
